London - 4
Then we went to Afternoon Tea, a must for ladies in London! We went to sketch, a cute artsy hotel in a nice area. They have different rooms for dining in the hotel, and the tea room is called glade (it’s themed like a forrest).
We passed the London Ritz.
This is Bond Street, a street with all kinds of really nice shops…
… like Alexander McQueen!

At tea. The tea I ordered is called a Blooming Osmanthus. The little tea ball blooms into a flower in the pot!!
Me with my tea
The bathrooms are really cool.
The bathroom stalls are individual egg-shaped pods!

My dessert. It sparkled!
After lunch we went walking around a bit through SoHo, Chinatown, and Trafalgar Square. These are cool shopping areas just like in New York!
Largest “fruit” I’ve ever seen
Didn’t go inside, but here is the National Portrait Gallery
They were filming a movie
Big Ben peeking out of Trafalgar Square
Me trying to climb up the lion.
I was unsuccessful.
We stopped near 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
Not surprisingly, you can’t actually go inside.
Just across the street are the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben! Big Ben was my favorite thing in London… it is so pretty!
Let’s take a look.
